Kalispell star on to New York Jets

(KALISPELL)- It's off to another NFL team as Kalispell's Lex Hilliard keeps his dreams alive of a professional football career.

The Flathead Beacon is reporting that the Jets signed Hilliard on Tuesday, with plans to make him the starting fullback, replacing John Conner, who was injured this past week. His Montana fans and family will be able to see him play on Monday Night Football coming up next week.

Hilliard, who had a standout college career with the Grizzlies, was initially drafted by Miami in 2008. He's also been with Minnesota and was briefly a New England Patriot before being waived last month. He's played in a total of 48-games.
